How to apply for housing
Step 1: Download and complete all of the documents below
Applications will only be assessed once ALL documents are complete:
- Application for housing assistance
- Evidence requirements information sheet
- Employment Income details
- Medical assessment
- Social housing supplement
Step 2: Prepare supporting evidence required for your application
Supporting evidence includes proof of identity, proof of income, proof of Australian citizenship or residency, etc. See Evidence Requirements Information Sheet above for more information.
Step 3: Submit forms and supporting documents to any local Community Housing Provider or Housing NSW office
Wait time information
All clients who are on the Housing Register, including rehousing, should go to the Housing NSW website to find information about expected waiting times, allocation procedure and two-offer policy.
