Spurway Street, Ermington

Status: All 3 person-centred units provide accomodation and on-site care for five residents. 

Evolve Housing was awarded $1.6 million in funding by Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) to develop housing that supports the requirements of people with a disability to live independently. 

Evolve Housing managed the whole project from sourcing the location, to the design and construction. Spurway St, Ermington was completed in March 2013. Through partnering with Royal Rehabilitation, ADHC provides onsite care for it's five residents.

This functional independent living model home is:

  • three seperate units, with one 1-bedroom unit and two 2-bedroom units
  • centrally located to enable residents activie employment 
  • on-site carer for accessible support
  • communical areas provide social meeting areas.
