Evolve Housing Vic is a registered housing provider that offers social and affordable housing services to Victorians who are unable to afford private market rents.
Our purpose is to enable more people in need to live in quality homes in thriving and inclusive communities.
We offer high-quality housing at a discounted rent to people on low-to-moderate incomes, and provide support services where needed to enrich our tenants’ lives. We also strive to work with government and investors to create more social and affordable housing for Victorians in need.
We are a registered housing provider with the Victorian Housing Registrar, and are able to work with private investors, developers, other not-for-profits and government to manage social and affordable housing stock.
Evolve Housing Vic is guided by an effective Board of Directors with extensive experience and knowledge from the housing and social services sectors. We also draw upon the experience of our parent company Evolve Housing, which is one of the largest community housing providers in Australia and the largest affordable housing provider in New South Wales.
We do more than simply provide accommodation. Evolve Housing delivers solutions that empower our residents to reach greater independence, avoid social isolation, and help communities thrive. Evolve Housing recognises our responsibility in supplying fit-for-purpose social and affordable housing, with the aim of increasing housing supply to match the diverse needs of households under housing stress.
About our parent company

In addition, Evolve Housing also has a presence in Tasmania as a 15% member of Centacare Evolve Housing, a registered community housing provider. Centacare Evolve Housing manages more than 2,000 properties housing 4,000 residents and has net assets of more than $150 million.
