Livable Housing Compliance for Design and Construction

Evolve Housing’s supported living housing projects are designed to meet Livable Housing guidelines at Platinum, Gold, or Silver levels, based on occupant needs. Many of our projects have achieved Platinum certification, the highest level, confirming that all 15 design elements have been met. Notably, the ‘Merv Wright House’ in North Parramatta received Platinum certification and was a finalist in the 2014 NSW Disability Industry Innovation Awards for its innovative design.

Livable Housing Design accreditation includes up to 15 features like step-free entrances and slip-resistant flooring, making homes easier to navigate and adaptable to changing needs. Platinum-level certification ensures all elements are included, with extra space for maneuvering wheeled devices.
