Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and disability support partnerships

Evolve Housing has been a registered Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider under the NDIS since 2016, offering various SDA categories across metropolitan and regional areas.

We collaborate with Support Partners who are registered Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers or other organisations offering disability support through formal partnerships with us. We manage all phases of property development, creating sustainable housing for people with disabilities.

Evolve Housing was the first provider under the Supported Accommodation Innovation Fund (SAIF) to achieve Platinum Level compliance in property design.

Our SDA Services

Evolve Housing’s dedicated SDA team offers specialist tenancy management and coordinates housing and support for residents. We provide:

  • Face-to-face (or virtual) meet-and-greet sessions for potential participants and their families
  • A holistic, client-centred approach, ensuring property compatibility is assessed during the transition phase for new participants
  • A focus on client satisfaction, working within NDIS principles to help residents exercise choice and control over their supports

NEST is an independent, online tool that connects people with disability to available Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties that meet their needs.

It’s a fast, easy way for SDA and Supported Independent Living providers to find eligible tenants for vacant properties.

NEST is free for everyone. Without registering, you can perform a general search by location and accommodation type. If you register, you can view specific room details and submit applications.
