From Receptionist to Manager: how Chloe landed her dream job at Evolve Housing

From a career in NSW Police to Motel/Restaurant Management, Chloe has experienced quite the journey which now sees her as Evolve Housing’s Investigations Manager & Complaints & Appeals Officer.

Chloe joined Evolve Housing in 2018 as a receptionist in the Business Support team and was completing her Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management. Incredibly happy with her position, Chloe embraced every opportunity for growth but had her eyes set on the Investigations Officer role. To Chloe’s delight, the position became vacant, and she put herself forward for the role she had been dreaming about since starting at Evolve Housing. Chloe excelled in the Investigations Officer role with the support of the Resident Services Management team.

Another opportunity came her way, and Chloe began a secondment as a Complaints Officer in our Governance and Legal department while continuing her role as an Investigations Officer. The department soon expanded, and Chloe was offered her dream role as Evolve Housing’s Investigations Manager & Complaints & Appeals Officer.

“Evolve Housing’s commitment to supporting its employees and providing opportunities for advancement has truly shaped my career, and I couldn’t be more excited about the future!” Chloe said.

“My leadership skills and investigation skills have continued to grow under the mentorship of my managers, and I am honoured to have been given this amazing opportunity to continue my career path. Who knows what the future will bring – but whatever it is, I’m so grateful to be here!”

If you’re looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and be part of something special, Evolve Housing is where you need to be.
