Evolve Housing is honoured to have won the Outstanding Affordable Housing Project Award for our mixed tenure project Lidcombe Rise at the 2023 GWS Project of the Year Awards Dinner! 

Lidcombe Rise is an innovative collaboration between Community Housing Provider Evolve Housing, Housing Australia, the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC), and Developer Billbergia Group. This award belongs to the innovative partnerships and our passionate team members.  

But Affordable Housing is not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about building the foundation of hope, stability, and dignity for every person in our communities. It’s about creating thriving communities for all where dreams and futures can be realised.  

It is comforting to see that 156 households are now safe and secure in a well-connected functioning community, but there are still many who are waiting for a safe and secure homes. This recognition is a reminder of the responsibility we carry to continue our efforts, to innovate, and to advocate for policies that ensure everyone has access to affordable housing. 

We thank Housing Australia, LAHC and Billbergia Group for their incredible hard work and dedication in delivering Lidcombe Rise, a project that is critical to supporting all people in our society. Thank you to Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue for this recognition. Awards like these motivates us to do more for this vital cause.
